This is truly a valuable lesson to learn in poker. Daniel Negreanu explains and demonstrates small ball poker, and really how he plays the game. This removes what's in your hand to "playing the player" because the cards obviously don't matter. You want to see what your opponent does, not what comes on the turn or river.
