Phil Ivey's KK v Brad Booth's 42 suited
I think this hand is played correctly by Phil Ivey. Yes, we can see their hands and are yelling at the screen "Call, Call, Call!" But put yourself in Ivey's shoes. That bet was another $300,000 of real money, putting him all in, and all he had was pocket K's. It's extremely likely he's against a set or a big draw, and his hand wouldn't hold up, or already behind. There was a chance that Booth had pocket Q's or J's, but I agree with laying this hand down based on the play. Now if this player was doing this a lot, then I believe the correct play would be to call.
